VAR - Regional Channel Manager

Join Sangoma, a leader in business communications, as a VAR - Regional Channel Manager! We are looking for an enthusiastic and results-oriented professional to build and manage relationships with Value-Added Reseller (VAR) partners. Sangoma is dedicated to Empowering Businesses with Essential Communications through innovative solutions in Unified Communications, UCaaS, CCaaS, VOIP, and Hybrid technologies, enabling organizations of all sizes to streamline their communication.

In this role, your main focus will be to drive sales through our VAR partners by developing strategies that enhance distribution, improve partner engagement, and expand the market reach of Sangoma’s products. You will be responsible for nurturing existing relationships and attracting new partners to promote our industry-leading solutions.

Work alongside our sales and marketing teams to create impactful partner training, marketing strategies, and incentives that empower VARs to effectively sell Sangoma's offerings. Your Role:

  • Develop and manage relationships with VAR partners to increase sales and market penetration.
  • Collaborate with partners to generate sales leads and enhance their sales techniques through training and support.
  • Create and implement channel marketing strategies that effectively communicate the value of Sangoma's products.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with VAR partners to assess performance and identify growth opportunities.
  • Utilize CRM tools to track partner performance and sales pipeline effectively.
  • Work with internal teams to align marketing efforts and provide partners with necessary tools and resources.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor strategies to adjust tactics as needed.
  • Gather feedback from partners to inform product development and enhance service offerings.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.
  • Participate in partner events, trade shows, and industry conferences to network and promote Sangoma’s brand.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Use data and insights to make informed decisions and improve channel sales strategies.
  • Negotiate reseller contracts where applicable.
  • Complete additional projects and duties as assigned.

  • 3-5 years of experience in channel management or sales, specifically with VARs in the technology sector, Unified Communications preferred.
  • Strong understanding of Unified Communications, VoIP, or related technology solutions.
  • Proven track record of building and maintaining successful VAR relationships that drive sales.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Experience using SalesForce software to manage contacts and sales processes.
  • An analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data to inform business strategies.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently while collaborating with various teams.
  • Ability to travel over 50% of the time and actively engage with your territory; successful RCMs are out meeting with partners daily.

  • We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,00 to $120,000, plus a variable commensurate with years of experience in this specific position and the candidate's location.
