This role offers a unique opportunity to drive sales of cutting-edge utility mapping and discovery solutions within the commercial and industrial sectors. You will spearhead client engagement efforts, focusing on electrification trends and capital program benefits, while building relationships with key decision-makers including VP and C-level executives. The position combines strategic sales planning with hands-on execution in a rapidly growing environment where innovation in underground infrastructure technology is setting new industry standards. Success in this role means contributing directly to safer, smarter infrastructure development.

Accountabilities:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies targeting utility sector growth, especially around electrification trends.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, engaging with executives to understand capital program needs and present tailored solutions.
  • Stay current with product developments and educate clients on how offerings support their utility and sustainability goals.
  • Lead discovery conversations to identify client needs, addressing objections with consultative solutions.
  • Manage sales pipeline, maintain CRM records, and collaborate with vertical utility leaders on contract negotiation and deal closure.
  • Monitor market trends, regulatory shifts, and customer requirements, providing actionable feedback to product teams.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, or a related field.
  • 6 to 12 years of B2B sales experience, preferably within the utility industry.
  • Strong knowledge of utility services, energy efficiency, sustainability, and electrification concepts.
  • Exceptional executive presence with excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools.
  • Competitive base salary ranging from $150,000 to $180,000.
