Drive Well-Architected Strategy: Own, define, and continually evolve the comprehensive engagement, and community strategy for the Well-Architected program. You'll serve as the primary strategic content partner, collaborating with product, architecture, and other senior executives at Salesforce.
Lead and Empower a High-Performing Team: Provide executive leadership, mentorship, and career development for a team of Architect Evangelists. You'll set strategic priorities, ensure operational excellence, and foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Elevate the Well-Architected Framework: Oversee and strategically guide the creation and delivery of compelling content (blogs, videos, workshops, technical demos) that brings the Salesforce Well-Architected Framework to life, making it profoundly accessible and practical for architects worldwide. You will also personally contribute to critical strategic content initiatives.
Lead the Architect Experience at Events: Strategically plan, own, and oversee the architect tracks at major Salesforce events like Dreamforce, TDX, and World Tours. You'll ensure these events deliver exceptional value through engaging sessions, hands-on workshops, and unparalleled networking opportunities for architects.
Champion the Voice of the Architect Globally: Establish, manage, and continuously evolve a robust, scalable feedback loop from the global architect community into Salesforce product and engineering teams. You'll strategically lead the Architect Advisory Board, ensuring community needs, pain points, and insights directly influence platform development.
Drive Strategic Customer Engagement: Partner closely with our CIO Team and other executive stakeholders to develop and deliver targeted content, events, and engagement strategies for Enterprise Architects at our most strategic customers, influencing their long-term architectural success.
Expand Community Reach and Impact: Lead the evangelization of Well-Architected at key industry and community events. You'll champion the update, maintenance, and global delivery of Well-Architected workshops, and empower a network of community ambassadors to deliver these workshops, significantly expanding our global community reach.
A related technical degree required.
10+ years of experience in a technology role, with significant experience as a solution or enterprise architect, including at least 5+ years in a leadership or management capacity overseeing technical professionals or programs.
A profound and applied understanding of architectural principles, patterns, and industry-standard frameworks, coupled with extensive experience designing and building complex, scalable, and secure solutions on the Salesforce Platform and beyond.
Executive-level proven experience creating, guiding, and delivering high-quality technical content, including thought leadership, strategic whitepapers, and keynote-level public speaking engagements.
Exceptional executive presence, presentation, interpersonal, and communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to translate highly complex technical concepts into clear, compelling narratives for diverse audiences, including senior leadership and external communities.
A strong passion for community building and a proven track record of successfully engaging, growing, and nurturing large-scale technical audiences through various channels.
The ability to act as a highly strategic, autonomous leader who can manage multiple complex, cross-functional initiatives, while also building strong, influential relationships across a matrixed organization.
A strategic mindset with superior problem-solving, analytical, and executive decision-making skills.
Ability to travel (domestic and international) to engage with key customers and community events.
Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified Technical Architect, Application Architect, System Architect).
Deep experience with industry-standard architectural frameworks (e.g., AWS Well-Architected, TOGAF, Zachman).
Significant experience running, contributing to, or leading a large-scale global technical community or user group program.
