Remote Paralegal
Job Type: Full-Time
Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Eastern Time, with a 1-hour break
Salary: $1,000 per month
Job Overview:
We are seeking an exceptionally organized and detail-oriented Remote Paralegal to support a growing U.S.-based real estate law firm specializing in both commercial and residential transactions. The ideal candidate will bring strong communication skills, multitasking ability, and experience in real estate law. In addition to legal support, this role includes light social media responsibilities such as posting updates on LinkedIn and helping maintain a consistent professional presence online.
Key Responsibilities:
- Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and lease agreements under attorney supervision
- Prepare documentation and spreadsheets for bank closings
- Coordinate and follow up with clients, realtors, lenders, and attorneys to schedule and prepare for closings
- Maintain and organize transaction files, databases, and calendars
- Manage ongoing communication with clients to gather and clarify information
- Post professional updates on LinkedIn and assist with basic social media content
- Ensure alignment of social media efforts with the firm's branding
Qualifications:
- At least 1–2 years of paralegal or legal assistant experience, preferably in real estate law
- Strong written and verbal English communication skills
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple cases and deadlines
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
- Comfortable with legal software and document management tools
- Experience in LinkedIn content posting or basic social media coordination is a plus
- Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva) is a bonus
- Ability to work independently and in coordination with a remote team
