SUMMARY:
The Director of Revenue Enablement is responsible for the development and execution of the training and enablement strategy for Relias’ Sales and Client Care teams. This role oversees the creation and delivery of tools, content, collateral, and training programs that drive incremental productivity across Sales Reps, Sales Engineers, Business Development Representatives, and Client Success, Professional Services and Support functions. The Director must have a strong understanding of B2B buying processes and how each customer-facing role aligns its activities to support the full customer lifecycle—from acquisition to renewal and expansion.
In addition to deep enablement expertise, the ideal candidate brings a forward-thinking mindset with a strong grasp of how generative AI and automation can enhance both the upskilling of frontline teams and the internal operations of the enablement function. This role will lead efforts to reduce manual processes, implement scalable learning technologies, measure adoption and training impact, and identify skill gaps across the organization. A strong understanding of how client support, client success and professional service teams contribute to the customer experience is essential, as is the ability to align enablement efforts to both sales and service excellence.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
• Leading the design, execution, and continuous improvement of onboarding and ongoing development programs for Sales and Client Care teams, ensuring they are modern, scalable, and aligned to role-specific competencies.
• Collaborating with Product Managment, Product Marketing, Revenue Technology and Revenue Operations to streamline business practices across the organization, design, develop and deploy training and collateral that are timely, actionable, and aligned with evolving messaging, product launches, processes and go-to-market motions.
• Coaching and empowering front-line managers as enablement partners, equipping them with AI-informed tools and resources to drive consistent learning and team performance.
• Developing and implementing a comprehensive, role-based skill development framework, in partnership with L&D and Sales/Client Care leadership, for all levels of the organization—individual contributors, managers, and leaders—with a focus on measurable outcomes.
• Evaluating and evolving the operational performance of the enablement function, using technology (AI/automation) to streamline processes, automate content delivery, reduce manual tasks, scale training delivery with limited headcount and reduce administrative overhead.
• Partnering with Data & Analytics teams to build dashboards and insights that track the absorption and adoption of training content, identify knowledge gaps, and inform future program development.
• Designing and managing a data-driven Certification and Competency program (e.g., Manager Coaching, Product-specific), leveraging analytics to assess adoption, engagement, and skill retention across the field and support organizations.
• Attracting, retaining, and developing a high-performing enablement team with skillsets that include instructional design, content development, learning technology, and AI enablement tools.
• Leveraging enablement platforms and AI-powered systems to manage assets, measure consumption and effectiveness, and deliver personalized learning experiences at scale.
• Owning the planning and execution of high-impact events such as Sales Kickoffs, Manager Summits, and role-specific learning initiatives—infused with innovative formats, automation, and engaging delivery.
• Staying abreast of advancements in AI, learning tech, and enablement trends, proactively integrating modern tools and practices that upskill teams and support strategic growth.
YOU’VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE/ARE:
• 10+ years of experience designing, developing, and delivering high-impact training and enablement programs in a SaaS-based, B2B, multi-product sales environment, ideally within high-growth or fast-paced organizations.
• 8+ years of experience leading enablement teams, with a proven track record of building scalable learning strategies using modern instructional design methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
• Bachelors' Degree
• Demonstrated experience integrating technology and automation, including generative AI tools, into training workflows to drive efficiency, reduce manual tasks, and enhance learning personalization.
• Experience building data-informed programs with strong measurement frameworks to assess adoption, skill development, and business impact.
• Familiarity with customer success, client care, or professional services organizations and how they contribute to client retention and growth.
• Hands-on experience with a variety of learning and content development tools such as Captivate, Camtasia, RISE, or equivalent platforms in addition to new AI entrants on the market.
• Experience working with an enterprise-grade Learning Management System (LMS) and/or enablement platform to manage, distribute, and track training content and performance.
