Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain robotics software in C++ for real-time embedded systems and robotic manipulators
- Develop and integrate perception pipelines (LiDAR, area 3D scanners, motion capture) for autonomous robots, arms, and AGVs
- Build and validate kinematics, motion-control, and multi-robot coordination algorithms for cooperative tasks
- Integrate and test custom robotic hardware and industrial manipulators with ROS-based middleware
- Debug and troubleshoot complex hardware-software interactions in lab and factory environments
- Collaborate cross-functionally with systems engineers, data scientists, welders, and manufacturing teams to deliver production-ready solutions
- Drive architecture, safety practices, and standards for industrial robotic systems
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical design reviews and integration efforts
Education
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Formal coursework or project experience in robotics, control systems, perception, or embedded systems
