Grammarly is seeking an Engineering Manager for their Identity Platform team to lead the design and development of their identity technology stack, enhancing user experience while ensuring compliance and security standards.
Responsibilities: Define vision and technical strategy for the Identity Platform, mentor engineers, manage stakeholders, ensure compliance and security, and assist in team scaling and hiring.
Skills: Proven software engineering experience, strong back-end development knowledge, familiarity with IAM concepts, ability to manage multiple initiatives, and a data-driven mindset.
Qualifications: 8+ years in software engineering with 3+ years in leadership, expertise in back-end technologies, and prior experience with IAM or similar teams preferred.
Location: Hybrid position based in San Francisco, CA.
Compensation: $260000 - $340000 / Annually

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Identity Platform team. In this role, you will lead the engineering team responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the company's identity technology stack, which spans a wide breadth and is the core platform on top of which all other features are built. The candidate will drive strategy, vision, and execution for this team to enable building scalable, reliable, secure, efficient, and ubiquitous abstraction layers for identity capabilities.
The ideal candidate is a technical leader with a strong software development background and considerable experience in IAM concepts. They should also showcase the ability to lead teams effectively in a fast-paced environment, following our EAGER values and MOVE principles.
