Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient data pipelines (ETL) for timeseries, telemetry, robotics, and sensor data
- Develop database schemas and data models for relational and timeseries databases
- Integrate and maintain message/streaming protocols for high-frequency telemetry ingestion
- Collaborate with ML engineers to prepare data for training, versioning, labeling, and inference
- Evaluate existing data infrastructure; recommend when to standardize or design new solutions
- Communicate plans, progress, risks, and blockers to cross-functional teams and leadership
- Implement data validation, transformation, and quality controls across pipelines
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (required)
- Master's degree in relevant field (preferred but not required)
