Responsibilities
- Own implementation of LP-DED additive for Aeon-R engine hardware from first prints through optimized production.
- Develop, validate, and optimize LP-DED operations, process flows, and work center layout to meet quality, cost, safety, and rate targets.
- Define and deploy process controls, standard work, and production documentation that scale with demand.
- Lead troubleshooting and root-cause investigations for first-time and recurring additive manufacturing issues and implement sustainable corrective actions.
- Support training and enablement of production teams to transfer operational ownership of LP-DED technology.
- Collaborate closely with design engineering, manufacturing, and production personnel to integrate process feedback into hardware iterations.
Education
- Bachelor of Science in aerospace, mechanical, or manufacturing engineering or equivalent experience.
- Relevant industry training or certifications in additive manufacturing or process control are a plus.
