Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations, Economics/Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, manufacturing, or engineering roles
- Familiarity with enterprise systems (PLM, ERP, MES) and data modeling techniques
- Understanding of contract structures, negotiations, implementation, and vendor management
- Basic negotiation skills and experience managing supplier relationships
- Cross-functional collaboration and program-aligned decision making
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement end-to-end supply chain strategy for the Aeon-R engine and associated subcomponents
- Assess existing subcomponent supply chains and refine operating models to meet development and production demands
- Ensure on-time delivery of assigned parts, coordinating with program management to align lead times with build cadence
- Use demand forecasts to create commodity strategies and drive sourcing through contract implementation
- Build and manage long-term strategic relationships with suppliers to maximize mutual value
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders (engineering, manufacturing, quality, planning) to anticipate requirements and align procurement strategies
- Manage supplier performance, vendor qualification, and risk mitigation activities
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain/Operations Management, Economics/Finance, or similar (required)
- Master’s in relevant discipline (preferred)
