- 1.5+ years hands-on IT support experience in Windows and macOS environments
- Strong desktop troubleshooting: hardware, OS, peripherals, and application issues
- Familiarity with account provisioning and permissions management
- Functional knowledge of IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, and basic networking concepts
- Experience with system imaging and OS deployment workflows
- Clear, customer-first communication and ability to support varied technical skill levels
- Comfort following documented procedures and escalating when appropriate
- Willingness to learn quickly in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve service desk tickets for desktop, endpoint, and user experience issues in a timely, professional manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain user endpoint devices (Windows, macOS) and peripheral hardware.
- Provision and manage user accounts, permissions, and local resources per documented procedures.
- Document solutions and create guides to reduce repeat service requests and streamline support workflows.
- Perform system imaging, OS installs, and device lifecycle tasks following IT standards.
- Troubleshoot basic network and core IT concepts (IP addressing, DNS, DHCP, file permissions).
- Escalate complex issues appropriately and collaborate with other IT teams (network, security, engineering) to resolve incidents.
- Suggest and implement improvements to standard practices to enhance end-user experience and reduce operational friction.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree or coursework in Information Technology or related field preferred
