- Variance analysis and financial reconciliation skills
- Familiarity with U.S. GAAP for inventory and costing
Responsibilities
- Perform monthly reconciliations for inventory on-hand and WIP balance accounts
- Review inventory period expense and production overhead accounts in a timely manner
- Monitor rocket part costs and enter revaluation transactions upon manager approval
- Prepare general journal entries as part of the regular monthly financial close
- Contribute to monthly variance analyses for P&L and balance sheet accounts
- Engage with Production Operations, Purchasing, Planning, and Engineering on tactical questions
- Lead and participate in continuous improvement projects related to cost accounting and reporting
Education
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or Finance
- Relevant professional certification (e.g., CPA) preferred but not required
