- Experience designing and building manufacturing test equipment
- Hands-on debugging and root cause analysis in manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of high-voltage systems (400–2000 VDC, 480–800 VAC)
- Experience with test automation and data analysis
- Cross-disciplinary comfort spanning mechanical, electrical, and firmware/software domains
- Experience with battery testers or battery characterization tools
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement manufacturing and field testers for a new electromechanical energy storage product
- Collaborate with firmware and hardware teams to define test coverage, metrics, and required features for manufacturing testing
- Debug and root-cause issues discovered in manufacturing test
- Design and develop test hardware for functional and system-level power tests
- Lead tester builds and validation activities, including GRR and SAT
- Work with firmware and software teams to develop test automation, self-test capabilities, and data analysis workflows
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field
