Skills
- 7+ years technical engineering experience across mechanical, electrical, software, or related disciplines
- Practical experience designing test fixtures, electrical cabinets, or tester software/infrastructure
- Comfort working with high-voltage systems (400–2000 VDC and 480 VAC)
- Experience designing test plans for validation, reliability, and manufacturing throughput
- Strong leadership, project management, and cross-functional communication skills
- Hands-on troubleshooting and system integration abilities for electromechanical systems
Responsibilities
- Recruit, lead, and manage a high-caliber test engineering team responsible for validation, reliability, and manufacturing testers
- Define, design, build, and deploy engineering validation and high-volume manufacturing testers and fixtures
- Develop test procedures and acceptance criteria in collaboration with product and manufacturing teams to balance coverage, speed, and cost
- Support and maintain test infrastructure throughout the product lifecycle, including troubleshooting and continuous improvement
- Act as a hands-on engineering manager contributing technically when needed and owning project goals, schedules, and deliverables
- Establish tooling, documentation, and processes for test development, deployment, and support at scale
- Communicate status and technical decisions to cross-functional stakeholders and executive leadership
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems Engineering, or related technical field preferred
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in an engineering field is a plus but not required
- Relevant industry training or certifications related to high-voltage safety or test systems are advantageous
