Human Resources Generalist

The Rallye Motor Company, Long Island's premier luxury automotive group, is seeking an experienced Human Resources Generalist to join our Human Resources team. As a key member of the HR team, you will play a critical role in providing support and guidance to our employees and management on a wide range of HR matters. This position includes a high volume of recruitment responsibilities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong interest and commitment to recruitment responsibilities as a core component if this role. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the success of our organization and help shape our HR practices. The salary range for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 yearly

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Handling a high volume recruitment process from start to finish including headcount analysis, posting vacancies, screening candidates, scheduling and conducting interviews and background checks.
  • Onboarding new employees and participating in a successful orientation process.
  • Conducting exit interviews and producing detailed turnover reports.
  • Providing guidance and support to managers and employees on HR policies and procedures.
  • Serving as backup to Benefits Administration.
  • Coordinating employee training and development initiatives.
  • Maintaining employee records and ensuring compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Running HR reports through ADP Workforce Now and various HR platforms.
  • Visiting dealerships as necessary to handle any HR related matters.
  • Coordinating and participating in HR projects, engagement activities and initiatives as assigned.
  • Assure the review process for both new hires and annual performance reviews are successfully completed and monitored.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration (or related field) and 3 years experience as a Human Resources Generalist or Masters Degree with 1 or more years of relevant experience.
  • SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus!
  • Proficiency in Google suite and ADP Workforce Now is desired.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • A passion for high volume recruitment!
  • Proven experience in recruitment with a high level of enthusiasm and passion for seeking out candidates.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, follow up, multitasking and organizational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficiency in Google suite and ADP Workforce Now is desired.
