Product Marketing Consultant

We are currently looking for a Product Marketing professional to join our team.  Product Marketing is a crucial part of One Identity. In this role, the Product Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing go-to-market strategies, ensuring they resonate with the target audience. This role bridges product development, marketing, and sales, focusing on positioning, messaging, and launching products successfully while driving adoption and customer success. They work closely with other teams to define product value, create engaging marketing materials, and enable sales teams to communicate the product's benefits effectively.

  • Drive growth in B2B Enterprise software
  • Build and deliver end-to-end marketing strategies
  • Collaborate across global teams to drive measurable business outcomes

Responsibilities

-Market Analysis: Collaborate with the wider team and review market research, competitor analysis, and gather customer feedback to identify opportunities for product differentiation and improvement.

-Product Positioning & Messaging: Define the product's unique value proposition, develop compelling messaging, and ensure consistent communication across all channels.

-Launch Planning and Execution: Overseeing the planning and execution of product launches, ensuring alignment with business objectives and effective communication. 

-Go-to-Market Strategy: Develop and implement go-to-market plans, including product launch strategies, promotional campaigns, and pricing strategies.

-Sales Enablement Collaboration: Work with the sales enablement team and sales team to provide them with the tools, materials, and training they need to effectively sell the product.

-Content Creation: Create and manage various marketing content, including website copy, blog posts, videos, and presentations.

-Campaign Plans: Plan and optimize marketing campaigns to drive product awareness, engagement, and adoption.

-Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with product management, digital marketing, event team, global sales, partner, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and achieve marketing goals

Qualifications

-5-7+ years of experience in product marketing, ideally within identity security, B2B, or tech environment

-Experience launching and driving adoption of software products or features, from positioning to go-to-market

-Proven ability to work cross-functionally with product, sales, customer success, and demand gen teams

-Industry experience in relevant verticals (e.g., cybersecurity, martech, fintech) can be a plus

-Skilled in crafting messaging and positioning that resonates with buyer persona's and end users

-Experience with product launches, sales enablement, and go-to-market planning

-Ability to conduct and apply market, competitive, and customer research

-Excellent storytelling, writing, and communication skills

-Data-driven mindset with the ability to derive insights from product usage, funnel metrics, or market trends

-Familiarity with segmentation, customer journeys, and lifecycle marketing

-Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree is a plus)

-Certifications in product marketing (e.g., from Product Marketing Alliance, Pragmatic Institute) are valued but not always required
