About the Role 

We’re looking for a proactive and forward-thinking Software Implementation Manager to lead technology efforts across Proper and our portfolio. This is not your typical IT role — it’s a chance to own and shape the tech infrastructure of a fast-growing, PE-backed platform that’s embracing AI to scale smarter and faster. 

You’ll manage software rollouts, troubleshoot IT systems, and champion the adoption of automation and AI-driven tools that transform how we operate. If you thrive at the intersection of project management, IT, and innovation, this is the opportunity to make your mark. 

 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Implementation Leadership: Lead technology deployments across Proper and portfolio companies. 
  • Systems Integration: Manage integrations between core systems (e.g., Yardi, property management software, CRM/ERP tools) to ensure data flows seamlessly and platforms connect effectively. 
  • Project Management: Oversee multiple rollouts with clear plans, milestones, and KPIs. 
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide updates to leadership and partner with teams to ensure successful adoption. 
  • IT Support & Troubleshooting: Manage the helpdesk, resolve complex technical issues, and maintain IT documentation. 
  • Cybersecurity & Compliance: Enforce best practices and ensure system stability. 
  • Innovation & AI Adoption: Actively participate in the AI committee and help us build agents to  streamline workflows and reduce manual tasks.  
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate implementations post-launch and recommend process enhancements.

Qualifications & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 
  • Experience with PMS integration (Yardi, Appfolio, or similiar)  
  • 8+ years in software/hardware implementation, project management, or systems integration. 
  • Strong IT troubleshooting skills with SaaS/ERP/CRM experience. 
  • Curiosity and comfort with AI tools, scripting, or automation. 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple, complex projects and cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. 
  • PMP or similar certification a plus. 

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary: $85,000 – $95,000
  • Bonus: Performance-based bonus
  • Other Benefits: Health, dental, vision, 401k match, flexible PTO, team retreats, learning stipends
