Cybersecurity Director

Voyager Technologies is a defense, national security and space technology company delivering mission-critical solutions for government and commercial customers. We're seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Director to lead enterprise security architecture, risk management, incident response, and a cybersecurity team while partnering with government agencies (including NASA and DoD) and third-party vendors to protect sensitive and regulated data.

Skills

Enterprise security architecture and strategy development
Incident response and vulnerability management experience
Knowledge of NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, CUI and ITAR/export controls
Experience with SIEM, EDR, firewalls, encryption and IAM solutions
Project management experience for technical security implementations
Ability to communicate security risk to technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience managing third-party security vendors and integrations

Responsibilities

Develop and implement enterprise information security architectures, strategies and roadmaps
Serve as subject matter expert across application, database, network and platform security
Design, evaluate and advocate security technologies, architectures and products
Analyze emerging threats, vulnerabilities and business impact; define mitigation plans
Implement security controls, defenses and countermeasures (firewalls, encryption, IAM, SIEM)
Manage security policies, data classification and compliance with NIST 800-53, NIST 800-171, CUI and ITAR/export controls
Oversee incident response, forensics and remediation activities; provide emergency availability as needed
Manage cybersecurity projects including planning, resourcing, change control and delivery
Coordinate with government agencies (NASA, DoD) and external vendors on security matters
Build, coach and develop the cybersecurity team; promote collaboration and continuous improvement

Education

Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Systems or related discipline
Certifications such as CISSP, CISM preferred but not required
Eligibility for required NASA/DoD-related authorizations (country-of-birth/citizenship restrictions apply)
