The Role
We’re looking for three Marketing Generalists to join our Intern-to-Hire Program — a high-stakes, hands-on sprint designed to identify future full-time hires. Over 12 weeks, you’ll work directly with the founding team on real, high-impact projects that drive Playground’s growth. This isn’t a typical internship. There are no coffee runs or busywork — just ownership, accountability, and rapid learning. You’ll work across marketing, growth, ops, product, and strategy, helping us move faster, think smarter, and scale better. Please note: a full-time position is not guaranteed. This is a 12-week trial-by-fire designed to test fit, skill, and ambition.


What You Will Do
Build, analyze, optimize, present, and ship work that matters. Dive into marketing, operations, strategy, growth, and product — solving whatever needs attention that day. Own projects end-to-end with support, but without hand-holding. Surface insights quickly using dashboards, scrappy models, user research, and feedback loops. Help the team move faster, think smarter, and grow faster.


You Might Work On
Building dashboards or reports to uncover insights and inform decisions. Supporting go-to-market campaigns, referral programs, or product launches. Conducting user interviews or analyzing customer feedback loops. Experimenting with new marketing channels or tools to improve acquisition. Collaborating with design and product to optimize messaging, creative, and campaigns.


Who You Are
Obsessed with learning and don’t need permission to figure things out. Comfortable thinking in systems while thriving in chaos. Love problems more than titles. Have a spidey-sense for inefficiency and ideas to fix it. Built something before — a project, a business, a tool, or anything that shows initiative.


What You’ll Bring
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills (Excel, Sheets, Python, etc.). Curiosity that doesn’t quit. Comfort with ambiguity, speed, and iteration. Clear and concise writing and communication skills. Bonus: experience in startups, operations, growth, product, or research.

Compensation
$30/hour, up to 40 hours per week.
