JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Vice President of Strategic Partnerships will support the development and implementation of strategic partnerships across the healthcare continuum for Pennant. This executive will lead managed care negotiations and contracts with payors, oversee environmental and social governance, provide financial modeling and support due diligence for acquisitions and post-diligence transitions. They will also play a key leadership role with the service center leadership teams to help accelerate the results of the field. This role integrates strategic finance leadership, payor and vendor contracting expertise, operational excellence across the continuum, and mission-driven innovation.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support the development and implementation of strategic partnerships to enhance the company's growth and market position.
Drive payor and value-based care relationships with new and existing partners to improve reimbursement rates and increase market share.
Lead cross-functional teams in finance, accounting, and healthcare analytics to support strategic initiatives and performance improvement.
Oversee revenue cycle management and ensure alignment with payor and vendor contracting strategies.
Develop and manage complex payor and vendor contracts, with a focus on Medicare Advantage and value-based arrangements.
Conduct financial modeling for and provide support for transitions.
Conduct due diligence for acquisitions to identify potential risks and opportunities and make informed decisions.
Ensure compliance with environmental and social governance (ESG) policies and regulations.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including portfolio presidents, market leaders, EDs, external partners, and industry leaders.
Provide leadership and support to service center leadership teams to help accelerate the results of the field.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to achieve results.
Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to inform strategic decisions and drive innovation.

JOB REQUIREMENTS (Education, Experience, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare, or related field; MBA and CPA preferred.
10+ years of experience in healthcare management, strategic partnerships, or related field.
Proven track record of successfully negotiating managed care contracts and developing strategic partnerships.
Experience supporting transitions and conducting due diligence for acquisitions.
Strong leadership, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
In-depth knowledge of environmental and social governance policies and regulations.
Ability to analyze data and make data-driven decisions.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
