Summary of Duties
As an Office Specialist 2, you will:
Provide general clerical support to child welfare caseworkers and supervisors.
Ensures the timely production of all payments in compliance with policy and procedural requirements.
Ensure forms and letters are in accordance with ODHS policy and procedures.
Process paperwork and payments that guarantee documentation of responsible services to clients and consumers.
Perform administrative, general office and record processing activities to ensure timely and accurate support service.
Actively seek to achieve the ODHS goals of integrity, stewardship, responsibility, respect and professionalism, service equity and innovation.
Minimum Qualifications
Two years of general clerical experience that includes keyboarding, word processing, or other experience generating documents; OR
An associate degree in any field; OR
An equivalent combination of education and experience.

Working Conditions
Your work will take place in the Bend Child Welfare office.
This is a part-time position; the work schedule will be determined upon hire and will equal 20 hours per week.
You will interact with a wide range of people including some who have experienced trauma and may exhibit challenges in controlling their emotions.

This is a permanent, part-time position and is represented by the Service Employees International Union (SEIU).
Part-time employees are paid hourly, the monthly salary will be prorated (the salary range listed in the job announcement applies to full-time positions).
Part-time employees are eligible for benefits and holiday pay on a prorated basis, according to their work schedule.
