Job Description
The Medical Assistant, Bilingual maintains the flow of patients through the practice, provides care to the patient such as obtaining detailed history, performing routine procedures and assisting provider as necessary. The Medical Assistant also keep exam rooms clean and stocked; equipment disinfected; autoclaves instruments, scans paperwork, administers injections, prepares exam rooms for patient visits and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Vocational / Technical Degree: Graduate of Medical Assistant training program. (Required)
Certification / Licensure / Registration
- Bilingual in Spanish and English (Required)
- BLS Certification (Required)
- Certified and/or Registered Medical Assistant (preferred)
- Certified Phlebotomist (preferred)
Experience and Skills
- 0 - 1 year Prior medical office experience (Required)
- 0 - 1 year Prior medical assistant experience (Preferred)
