Responsibilities
- Execute month-end close: prepare journal entries, reconciliations, and bookkeeping for core areas (capital assets, leases, AP, accruals, payroll, stock-based compensation)
- Prepare and review quarterly financial statements and investigate significant fluctuations
- Manage payroll operations, reconciliations, filings, and coordinate with HR for employee data and benefits
- Administer equity activities including grants, RSU vesting/releases, option exercises/repurchases, and cap table maintenance
- Support payroll and equity tax filings (W-2s, 941s, Forms 3921, 1099-B) and stock-based compensation accounting
- Document, implement, and test internal controls in line with ICFR; identify gaps and support remediation
- Research, develop, and maintain corporate accounting policies consistent with US GAAP
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to automate and improve accounting processes
- Support ad hoc finance and accounting projects, audits, and investor reporting requests
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field required
- CPA preferred or actively pursuing
- Public accounting or audit experience preferred
