The Role
As the Technical Services Coordinator, you will support the Technical Services and Facilities operation, focusing on the permanent elements and touring experiences that bring Netflix House to life. This coordinator blends the focus of prioritization, hustle, and a love for continuous improvement of technical systems and processes.
You will be involved with all on-site technical and building services needs, including preventative maintenance, daily technical support for operations, and vendor coordination. You will ensure schedules and priorities are met to best serve our Fans and Employees. This individual will need to communicate with internal and third-party partners to ensure resources are readily available to maintain the complex technical nature of the Netflix House experience.
What you will do:
Assist in the daily support, maintenance, and technical readiness of Netflix House attractions, including lighting, A/V, show control, scenic, and special effects systems.
Support the Technical Services Manager and Facilities Management team in maintaining all technical aspects of Netflix House's permanent and touring experiences, including preventative maintenance, daily handoff to operations, and ad-hoc work.
Coordinate scheduling and access for third-party vendors performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs.
Conduct minor on-site repairs and general maintenance tasks, ensuring timely escalation of larger issues. Coordinate with the operations team to minimize Fan disruption when maintenance projects are planned.
Maintain the workshop space so that it is usable for a variety of functions.
Assist with daily walkthroughs of the venue, identifying potential issues and ensuring operational readiness across front-of-house, back-of-house, and technical areas.
Manage logs, checklists, and digital tracking systems for maintenance, inspections, and compliance documentation.
Work closely with the landlord on larger maintenance coordination projects, including freight access, HVAC, or janitorial coordination.
Coordinate with external vendors and contractors to schedule routine and emergency repairs, ensuring minimal disruption to Fan-facing operations.
Support load-ins, upgrades, and reconfigurations of both permanent and touring experiences.
Work closely and communicate with Netflix Creative, Attractions, and Operations teams.
Work with technical production teams on needed design changes and/or modifications to ensure Netflix House Technical Sustainability is upheld and current.
Participate in environmental, health and safety (EHS) and compliance initiatives, including routine inspections and readiness drills.
Contribute to regular reporting and briefings that capture technical activity, needs, and insights.
Coordinate with corporate resources to establish best practices in technical services.
Manage documentation and tracking for technical elements.
Promote and foster a mindset of continuous innovation for internal teams and external partners.
Establish regular meetings with key stakeholders to update on progress and solicit feedback.
What we need from you:
Applicants must be at least 18 years of age to be considered for employment.
Demonstrated, 3+ years of technical experience in location-based entertainment industry, technical theme park maintenance, technical theater operations, or similar.
Knowledge and excitement of both permanent and touring experiences around the world.
Knowledge of all aspects of theatrical technical systems (lighting, AV, show control, scenic integration, SFPX, rigging)
Experience within a variety of facility management areas, including HVAC, lighting, plumbing, and general maintenance.
Good understanding of Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) and/or OSHA qualification (or willingness to obtain).
Familiarity with standards and regulatory bodies such as ASTM F24, UL, and TUV.
Knowledge of current and future technology trends.
Knowledge of Autodesk software (CAD, Revit, etc.)
Experience in AR, VR, and emerging technologies production and integration.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage vendors, and track maintenance schedules in a high-paced environment.
Strong desire to think outside the box and innovate through technical solutions.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and digital.
Excellent organizing skills using digital tools and Google Suite.
Availability to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays at a 365-day attraction.
