The National Math and Science Initiative (NMSI) is seeking a Manager of Instructional Design to create and implement engaging learning materials that enhance STEM education across the U.S. in a flexible, remote work environment.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include developing online learning materials, applying instructional design theories, overseeing a team of designers, and promoting continuous learning and collaboration.
Skills: Requires proficiency in Learning Management Systems (LMS) and authoring tools like Articulate and Camtasia, with knowledge of adult learning methodologies and instructional design models.
Qualifications: At least 3 years of experience in instructional design and implementation, with a focus on both online and in-person learning environments.

The Manager of Instructional Design directly impacts our mission by creating and developing the learning materials that achieve NMSI’s mission to elevate the future of STEM education.

The Manager, Instructional Design will report to Director, Program Design & Innovation and is a full-time, regular position offering the flexibility to work from anywhere within the contiguous United States. Occasional travel may be required for in-person meetings, conferences, and events.
