ModSquad's Information Technology department seeks a Technical Business Process Manager to collaborate with our Finance department as part of our larger Enterprise Applications team. This role will guide process improvements, automations, system integrations, and system administration with a focus on enhancing financial operations. This includes continuous improvement efforts, integrating new AI technical initiatives, and working with existing systems such as Sage Intacct and Workday’s Adaptive Planning, Payroll and Financials modules.

This position requires a strong understanding of financial processes as well as the ability to leverage technology to drive efficiency and growth.  This is the perfect opportunity for someone that loves learning new technologies, a good puzzle, and gathering input from a number of sources to turn into viable improvements.

What you will do:

• Work with Finance and Payroll/Payment team members to identify and implement improvements to business processes, with a focus on leveraging technology for increased efficiency.

• Collaborate with the rest of the Enterprise Applications team to ensure changes align with overall business objectives and overall technology strategies.

• Assist in the maintenance, configuration, and optimization of SaaS technologies, including Sage Intacct and Workday, to support financial operations.

• Prepare documentation to ensure stakeholders understand changes, systems, and processes related to financial technology.

• Project manage change initiatives to ensure optimal results and a thorough understanding of work that’s being undertaken

• Troubleshoot issues related to financial systems and implement solutions, including systemic changes to prevent recurrence.

• Actively participate in agile management processes, staying up-to-date with the latest trends in financial technology, including AI initiatives, and recommending changes to leadership.

Skills and Experience - Who you are:

• 3+ years of experience administering and/or implementing SaaS technologies, particularly Sage Intacct and/or Workday.

• The ideal candidate has significant financial technical consulting experience.

• Strong understanding of core financial processes.

• Experience operating in a consultative role to understand and meet the needs of multiple stakeholders within finance.

• Basic knowledge of APIs, JSON, and systems integration principles.

• Familiarity with AI technologies and how they might be applied to finance.

• Excellent time management and organizational skills.

• A real “MacGyver” when looking at solutions; truly understanding how out of the box thinking can deliver spectacular results with the incredibly flexible systems and processes we have in place.

• Strong sense of personal accountability and the ability to work independently.

• Ability to communicate with and influence cross-functional stakeholders and work collaboratively.

• High EQ and a sense of humor are required.
