Job Overview

The IT Security Analyst 2 will be developing security programs for our enterprise systems ensuring high performance and responsiveness while ensuring proper security protocols are up-to-date and performing as expected. In addition, you will be involved in analyzing the infrastructure and network security of our servers and our custom developed front-facing systems in a dynamic, self-organizing and high preforming agile team environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and improve a security program and standards for our enterprise technologies and systems. 
• Ensure security standards in our company are adhered to.
• Embrace automation as a guiding principle for everything we do.
• Develop processes that support the security and automation of our systems, technologies, and workflows. 
• Create robust automated testing, and active monitoring of all systems, technologies, and applications. 
• Identify and define integration points with third-party solutions. 
• Troubleshoot basic and advanced security issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relative experience.
• 3-5 years of Security analysis and testing experience.
• 2-4 years of Azure experience.
• The ability to work well in a modern agile software engineering environment (with source code control, dev/stage/prod release cycle, extensive testing, and continuous deployment. 
• The ability to identify and define integration points with third-party solutions.  
• Comfortable on the command line. 
• Experience using at least one server-side programming language such as PowerShell
• Knowledge of relational and/or non-relational databases (e.g. MySQL and SQL, respectively). 
• Strong organization, oral, and written communication skills.
