Role Summary
We are seeking a strategic and execution-focused Product Manager to lead our integration and go-to-market efforts with Microsoft Azure as part of our 1P partnership. In this role, you will drive the product strategy, roadmap, and joint initiatives to grow adoption of Mistral AI Studio within the Azure ecosystem. You will work cross-functionally with product, engineering, GTM, and Azure partner teams to deliver cloud-native integrations that unlock new streams of revenue.
This is a high-impact role where you will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for our Azure partnership, from integration and private preview to general availability and scaling. You will build a close relationship with Microsoft’s engineering and GTM teams, define a joint GTM strategy, and ensure our Azure offering becomes a primary deployment option for Mistral’s product suite.
What you will do
Customer and Market Understanding
• Conduct market research to understand Azure ecosystem trends, cloud buyer personas, and competitive dynamics.
• Engage with customers to gather feedback and validate product positioning, integrations, and features.
Product Vision and Strategy
• Define and champion the vision and roadmap for Mistral’s Azure 1P product offering.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (science, GTM, marketing) to align product strategy with business objectives.
• Identify opportunities to innovate through Azure-native capabilities (e.g., Azure Monitor, Azure AD, ARM, Bicep, Foundry).
Product Development
• Work closely with Microsoft teams and Mistral engineering to define, prioritize, and build product integrations into the Azure Foundry ecosystem.
• Ensure our technical architecture supports native Azure deployment, security standards, scalability, and co-sell eligibility.
Go-to-Market Strategy
• Co-create and execute a joint GTM strategy with Microsoft’s field and partner marketing teams to accelerate co-sell motion.
• Define value propositions, key differentiators, and messaging tailored to Azure-specific personas.
• Lead packaging and pricing discussions for Azure Foundry offers, ensuring alignment with enterprise use cases.
High-Quality Execution
• Drive high-quality product execution, delivering intuitive and impactful products on time and within budget.
• Architect the product around Azure services and identify additional custom development requirements.
User Experience and Feedback
• Partner with UX and design teams to create seamless, intuitive experiences for Azure-native user journeys.
• Incorporate continuous feedback from Azure Preview programs, beta testing, and telemetry to refine features.
Performance Metrics
• Establish and track KPIs (revenue generation, active users, usage, retention, user satisfaction, CAC, profitability).
• Optimize product performance based on data-driven insights.
Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, Microsoft, and customers.
• Communicate product updates, launches, and roadmaps effectively.
Product Evangelism
• Serve as a company and product evangelist through thought leadership, blogging, social media, and industry events.
Who you are
• 7+ years of product management experience, preferably in cloud, SaaS, or developer platforms.
• Proven success in B2B platform integrations and working with partner ecosystems, especially cloud hyperscalers (Microsoft preferred).
• Deep understanding of Microsoft’s partnership programs (e.g., IP co-sell, ISV Success, Commercial Marketplace onboarding).
• Hands-on experience with cloud infrastructure services and ability to collaborate with engineers on API design, integrations, and infrastructure tradeoffs.
• Customer-centric mindset, strong communication and influencing skills, and ability to speak the language of developers, cloud architects, and DevOps professionals.
• Strategic thinker with a results-oriented, collaborative approach and problem-solving skills.
