Position Summary:
With general supervision from the manager, the primary job function is to work largely independently to monitor, audit and analyze product performance, recognize opportunities and make recommendations to achieve overall profitability and growth in assigned states and line of business. Provide assistance and contribute to product and pricing improvements and development of next generation insurance products.
State specific pay scales for this role are as follows:
$74,995 to $138,744 (CA, NJ, NY, WA, HI, AK, MD, CT, RI, MA)
$68,141 to $126,131(NV, OR, AZ, CO, WY, TX, ND, MN, MO, IL, WI, FL, GA, MI, OH, VA, PA, DE, VT, NH, ME)
$61,327 to $113,518 (UT, ID, MT, NM, SD, NE, KS, OK, IA, AR, LA, MS, AL, TN, KY, IN, SC, NC, WV)
The expected base salary for this position will vary depending on a number of factors, including relevant experience, skills and location.
Essential Job Functions:Works independently to monitor, audit and analyze product performance to identify issues and opportunitiesTests new rating models against existing ones to determine performance of accuracy of prediction, loss ratio improvement and segmentationProvides assistance and contribute to product and pricing improvements and development of next generation insurance products. Recommends ideas to improve product offerings, process improvements and/or goal changesMeets with management and team to present analysis needs; Prepares reports, graphs and charts based on research and analysis. Operates within a project plan to incorporate business objectives, data scope, research methodology, resources and time-frame.Serves as a contact for reporting needs/issues regarding complex data. Participates in the formation of business plans and forecasts and provides answers to questions about business data to appropriate business units.
