Product Manager
Mercor is seeking seasoned product management professionals to collaborate with a leading AI research lab on a short-term project aimed at advancing AI capabilities in product strategy, feature prioritization, and go-to-market execution. This engagement involves evaluating, refining, and calibrating AI outputs to ensure accuracy and strategic alignment across advanced product management workflows, from market analysis and roadmap development to launch planning and performance tracking. Participants will leverage their deep expertise to shape AI tools that replicate real-world product management practices. This is a unique opportunity to apply your product leadership skills toward training frontier AI systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Review AI-generated product roadmaps, user stories, and feature specifications for clarity, feasibility, and alignment with market needs
- Provide domain-specific feedback on AI outputs related to product strategy, competitive analysis, and customer research
- Develop and refine evaluation rubrics for product requirement documents, prioritization frameworks, and go-to-market plans
- Collaborate asynchronously with AI research teams to improve system reasoning and reliability in product management contexts
- Audit AI-generated reports, product performance analyses, and stakeholder updates for accuracy and strategic insight
Ideal Qualifications
- 2+ years of professional experience in product management at top-tier technology companies, startups, or consultancies (e.g., FAANG companies, leading SaaS firms, high-growth startups)
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering, Design, or a related discipline
- Proven expertise in one or more domains: product strategy, agile product development, user experience design, market research, or launch execution
- Strong proficiency with product management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, Trello), analytics platforms, and customer feedback systems
- Exceptional communication, analytical, and strategic planning skills
- Candidate must reside in the US, UK, or Canada
Project Timeline
- Start Date: Immediate
- Duration: 6 months+
- Commitment: Part-time, 20–40 hours/week

Compensation & Contract
- Hourly Rate: $70–$80/hr (USD), depending on experience
