Director, Corporate Strategy & Business Development

Current Need:

McKesson’s Corporate Strategy & Business Development team (CSBD) is responsible for developing and deploying strategies to grow the enterprise and CoverMyMeds.  CSBD operates at the highest levels within the organization and, as such, is seeking a high-performing, results-driven team members who will support the identification, evaluation, and communication of strategic opportunities across the organization. 

Position Description 

The CSBD Director will be tasked with supporting CSBD and CoverMyMeds business teams in delivering high-priority strategic projects that advance our competitive position in support of the enterprise mission to achieve better business health for the company and its customers.  Responsibilities may include:

• Establishing analytical frameworks and conducting complex business analyses
• Conducting external research / data gathering and analysis
• Collecting and analyzing market data
• Supporting CSBD and BU leadership to help achieve project objectives
• Driving discrete components of work and analysis to successful completion
• Collaborating with stakeholders across the enterprise
• Creating high-quality presentations / deliverables for various internal and external audiences
• Adding to CSBD’s knowledge base from your project experience
• Contributing to the strength of CSBD’s team culture and community

Minimum Requirements

• 4+ years of prior strategy or healthcare consulting and / or relevant industry experience preferred

Critical Skills

In order to be successful in this challenging and high-impact role, the successful candidate will have a track record of:

• Knowledge of Healthcare Industry preferred with a focus on access platforms
• Quickly climbing the learning curve in new subject areas
• Building a strong working knowledge of the stakeholders and dynamics in healthcare
• Data analysis skillset to draw insights from datasets
• Supporting the delivery of high-impact strategic projects
• Driving complex company, customer, and market analyses
• Establishing collaborative working relationships with diverse stakeholders
• Working independently to deliver high-quality work products
• Communicating clearly and concisely in both oral and written formats
• Demonstrating creativity in leveraging diverse tools to deliver project work
• Contributing to the strength of CSBD’s team culture and community

Education

• 4-year bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or other relevant field
• MBA preferred

Physical Requirements

General office demands. Occasional travel (~20%).
