Responsibilities
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and deliver timely, accurate financial results.
- Manage general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, fixed assets, revenue accounting, and support payroll/benefits functions.
- Ensure consistent application of corporate accounting policies and compliance with U.S. GAAP.
- Establish and monitor internal controls and SOX or SOX-like control frameworks.
- Oversee preparation of internal and external financial reporting for lenders, investors, and stakeholders.
- Coordinate with external auditors and manage tax compliance and related reporting.
- Drive process improvements and accounting system enhancements (Oracle preferred).
- Provide executive-level financial analysis and partner with leadership on complex accounting treatments.
- Mentor and develop the accounting team and lead special financial projects.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- CPA required
- Master’s degree or MBA preferred (not required)
