This role is ideal for a highly skilled accountant who thrives in organizing complex financial data and driving transformation within a finance team. You will focus on reconciliations, accounting cleanup, and financial reporting support, ensuring accuracy and compliance with GAAP. Accountabilities
- Perform reconciliations and accounting cleanup to ensure the accuracy of the general ledger and financial statements.
- Build and maintain balance sheet schedules, ensuring completeness and GAAP compliance.
- Design and implement processes that strengthen reporting discipline, improve efficiency, and mitigate errors.
- Conduct tests of balance sheet accounts and analyses to validate account balances and support financial controls.
- Develop clear reconciliation schedules and financial support packages for transformation initiatives.
- Translate financial statements into actionable indicators of operational performance and forward-looking business health.
- Partner with senior finance leadership to implement corrective entries and establish sustainable reporting practices.
- Collaborate with external advisors and auditors, providing accurate supporting documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience with a strong background in reconciliations, accounting cleanup, and financial reporting support.
- Solid knowledge of GAAP and experience preparing financial statements and supporting schedules.
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, and complex formulas.
- Experience with QuickBooks or similar accounting systems.
- Exceptional attention to detail and structured problem-solving approach.
- Strong communication skills, able to distill complex data into clear schedules and insights.
- Ability to link financial results to operational performance and provide forward-looking business insights.
