Staff Analyst, Cybersecurity & Privacy Compliance
Skills
- Working knowledge of U.S. federal and state data privacy, cybersecurity, and consumer protection regulations (GLBA, FCRA, UDAAP, CCPA, TILA, ECOA, SOX)
- Experience with regulatory compliance programs, testing frameworks, or incident investigations
- Strong data analytics skills and ability to synthesize findings from multiple data sources
- Excellent written and verbal communication for stakeholder reporting and cross-functional collaboration
- Ability to develop processes, workflows, and basic compliance tooling or dashboards
Responsibilities
- Support cross-functional teams to manage compliance obligations with financial partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders
- Conduct privacy and cybersecurity impact assessments and manage data subject access requests
- Monitor and test compliance with global privacy and cybersecurity regulations (e.g., GLBA, CCPA, OFAC, UDAAP, ADA)
- Develop and maintain compliance dashboards, reports, and documentation to track regulatory alignment
- Support incident response activities including documentation, remediation tracking, and root cause analysis
- Prepare materials for audits, regulatory exams, and internal reviews
- Participate in organization-wide compliance awareness and training initiatives
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field (e.g., Information Security, Risk Management, Business, Finance) or equivalent experience
- Relevant professional certifications preferred (e.g., CIPP, CISSP, CRISC, CISA)
