Join our dynamic team as a Paralegal and play a crucial role in supporting our rapid expansion across multiple jurisdictions. You will work directly with senior leadership and external counsel to ensure our business operations remain compliant as we scale. You will provide legal and compliance support across a broad range of topics from contract management, intellectual property, regulatory compliance, to corporate governance. Maintain a centralized contract database for partners including vendor, distribution and influencer agreements, and track renewal dates and key terms, flag expiries, and prepare standard-form contracts for review
Review third-party redlines on standard agreements (NDAs, vendor contracts) and escalate material deviations to counsel while managing routine template-based negotiations
Apply business judgment to balance speed and risk in everyday contract workflows
Work with external counsel to file and maintain trademark registrations, conduct basic name checks, track renewal deadlines and support enforcement efforts
Monitor for potential infringements across platforms (Amazon sellers, trademark trolls)
Coordinate cross-functional inputs from QA, Product, and BD teams and compile documentation for product registrations (NPNs, EU dossiers) for regulatory submissions
Track progress across regions and ensure filing timelines are met
Maintain repository of approved product claims, disclaimers, and ad compliance guidance
Ensure copywriters and marketers use updated language aligned with FTC/FDA counsel advice and flag risky marketing language
Maintain records of processing activities (GDPR/CCPA) and ensure cookie banners are documented
Log customer data access/deletion requests and coordinate with tech teams on consent workflows
Support updates to privacy policies and coordinate vendor Data Processing Agreements
Coordinate on communications, document gathering, and follow-ups with external legal counsel and other internal departments, e.g. Customer Service, for dispute and litigation-related matters
Manage multiple legal matters with external counsel across IP, regulatory, and commercial issues in parallel
Track open items, deliverables, and billing across various legal vendors
Maintain company records including resolutions, board minutes, and entity registrations
Support annual filings and assist with US entity compliance requirements
Manage multi-entity compliance across jurisdictions (SG, US) with audit-ready documentation
Organize digital legal folders by matter type with consistent naming conventions and permissions
Update SOPs for legal workflows and maintain secure access controls

Maintain a well-organized contract tracker with 100% accuracy, ensure proactive renewal tracking 30+ days in advance, and demonstrate reliable coordination across various functions and external counsel without bottlenecks.
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date register of trademarks and application statuses across jurisdictions, conduct timely name clearance checks during product development, and coordinate regulatory filing documentation (NPNs, EU dossiers) with cross-functional teams to meet market entry timelines.
Drive adoption of approved product claims and disclaimers aligned with FTC/FDA guidance within the creative and marketing team, and flag risky marketing language before escalation to reduce risk of claims-related complaints or litigation. Ensure privacy compliance in respective jurisdictions through regular updates to privacy policy and content management platform implementation with the Tech team.
Deliver complete, timely documentation to external legal counsel with clear internal context, maintain central tracking of all legal matters with statuses and deadlines, and act as an effective bridge between internal teams and legal vendors to reduce costs and accelerate resolutions.
Legal Education & Experience: Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or Bachelor's degree with paralegal coursework, plus 3+ years of paralegal experience in corporate law, regulatory compliance, or intellectual property with demonstrated experience in e-commerce or consumer products industry
Contract & IP Management Expertise: Proven experience managing contract databases, conducting trademark searches, and coordinating IP filings with strong understanding of standard commercial agreements (NDAs, vendor contracts, distribution agreements) and ability to review redlines using clause libraries
Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge: Solid understanding of FDA/FTC compliance requirements for consumer products, experience with product registration processes (NPNs, EU dossiers), and familiarity with privacy regulations (GDPR/CCPA) including data processing documentation
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with proven ability to coordinate with external counsel, manage multiple legal matters simultaneously, and work effectively with BD, Marketing, Product, and QA teams in a fast-paced environment
Detail-Oriented & Process-Driven: Strong organizational skills with ability to maintain audit-ready files, track deadlines across multiple projects, and ensure compliance with naming conventions and access controls while demonstrating initiative in identifying process improvements
Industry-Specific Experience: Previous experience in DTC e-commerce, supplement/wellness industry, or consumer product companies preferred with understanding of digital marketing compliance, platform-specific regulations, and international expansion legal requirements
Multi-Jurisdictional Awareness: Experience with multi-entity corporate governance (US/Singapore preferred) and understanding of cross-border regulatory requirements for product launches and business operations
