Skills
- 2+ years in digital assets transaction monitoring within a regulated institution
- Experience with sanctions and watchlist screening processes
- Hands-on use of blockchain analytics tools (Chainalysis, Elliptic, TRM or equivalent)
- Experience drafting and submitting SARs
- Strong written and verbal English communication
- Ability to work autonomously and manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with both B2B payments and crossover fiat investigations
Responsibilities
- Review sanctions and watchlist screening alerts on entities and individuals
- Manage end-to-end financial crime investigations from transaction monitoring and blockchain analytics
- Perform blockchain tracing using providers such as Chainalysis, Elliptic or TRM
- Draft and submit Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) to relevant authorities
- Escalate and recommend enhancements to BVNK’s control environment and monitoring rules
- Coach and receive escalations from junior team members
- Collaborate with product and engineering on tuning transaction monitoring rules and controls
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Criminal Justice, Economics, Computer Science or related field preferred
- Or equivalent practical experience in AML/financial crime and blockchain investigations
