Responsibilities
- Process payroll for all employees accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
- Maintain payroll records, including employee time and attendance data.
- Handle payroll inquiries from employees and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with HR to ensure that employee information is up-to-date and accurate.
- Prepare and submit payroll reports and filings in accordance with regulations.
- Assist in the audit of payroll processes as needed.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
- Proven experience as a Payroll Specialist or similar role is required.
- Strong understanding of payroll and tax laws.
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
