Job Description

At LinkedIn, our approach to flexible work is centered on trust and optimized for culture, connection, clarity, and the evolving needs of our business. The work location of this role is hybrid, meaning it will be performed both from home and from a LinkedIn office on select days, as determined by the business needs of the team. This role can be based in our Omaha NE or Chicago IL offices.

The Scaled Sales Development team is dedicated to driving scaled sales motions to support LinkedIn's small business members, from acquisition to upsell. We’re looking for a Sales leader with experience driving Outsourced/vendorized sales reps while leading a team of experienced vendor leads, responsible for performance optimization and operational excellence across LinkedIn’s scaled vendor programs. You will lead the Premium Chat outsourced sales strategy, working with internal LinkedIn teams and vendor partners to develop effective strategies to help ensure the long-term success of our Premium Products.

Responsibilities:

  • Consistently achieve and redefine the potential of the outsourced sales program through clear strategies, actionable plans, and measurable outcomes.
  • Drive vendor and team performance by anticipating challenges, solving systemic issues, and implementing scalable solutions that unlock incremental growth.
  • Build and communicate inspiring, actionable strategies aligned with LinkedIn’s broader goals; ensure team plans directly contribute to long-term priorities.
  • Activate strategies by leveraging your team’s strengths, coordinating execution across functions, and maintaining clear accountability for results.
  • Provide strategic guidance on vendor-related opportunities, ensuring alignment with quarterly and long-term objectives.
  • Hire, develop, and coach exceptional and diverse Vendor Leads, creating an environment where each team member can thrive and grow.
  • Implement performance management frameworks, providing ongoing feedback and development to help team members meet their goals.
  • Model mastery in vendor program management, strategic problem-solving, and stakeholder influence—setting high standards for execution and excellence.
  • Demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset by driving adoption of best practices, lessons learned, and innovative solutions every quarter.
  • Navigate roadblocks and generate solutions by proactively collaborating with partners across Sales Ops, Enablement, Product, Legal, and Vendor Management.
  • Communicate strategies, updates, and business insights clearly, adapting your style to meet diverse needs, and ensuring open, transparent communication within your team and across LinkedIn.
  • Build and sustain trusted relationships with internal partners and vendor leaders, fostering shared accountability and alignment.
  • Embody LinkedIn’s Culture and Values, prioritizing Diversity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DIBs) as a core element of leadership.
  • Maintain a pulse on team engagement, wellness, and satisfaction, and implement plans to address pain points while fostering belonging and cultural humility.
  • Celebrate achievements, recognize contributions, and ensure team members understand how their work advances LinkedIn’s vision and strategy.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven ability to develop talent, shape team culture, and drive adoption of new processes or tools at scale.
