Heatcraft Refrigeration is a long-standing leader in the world of commercial refrigeration, providing climate-control solutions. Their state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities in the cities of Stone Mountain and Tifton, Georgia, produce evaporators, condensers, compressor racks, and other top-quality refrigeration products for their six market-leading brands: Bohn, Larkin, Climate Control, Chandler, Magna Industrial and InterLink. Heatcraft products are primarily used to preserve food and other perishables in supermarkets, convenience stores, restaurants, warehouses and distribution centers, in addition to other applications such as data centers, pharmaceutical and industrial process cooling.

Job Description

Location: Stone Mountain, GA (This position 100% onsite.)

 

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

 

As the Technical Sales Specialist II, you’ll develop sales in targeted accounts that require a high level of technical expertise.

  • Develop businesses with a limited number of named accounts but may not be the primary sales representative.
  • Guide customers in configuration, perform box load calculations and select the correct products or assist customers in making product selections based on customers' needs, product specifications, and applicable regulations.
  • Ensure high post-sales satisfaction, facilitating positive long-term relationships and high potential for repeat business with customers.
  • Supports pre-and-post sales activities in terms of correctly applying the product portfolio.
  • Provide customer technical support in setup, configuring, troubleshooting and operating products.
  • Provide necessary training for sales groups and customers on the features and proper use and application of product lines.
  • May provide customer specific programming and parameter settings for custom applications.

Qualifications

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

To be successful in this role, you will need to have the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of relevant industry experience required.
  • Proven ability to build strong relationships and communicate effectively through active listening, persuasion, negotiation, and time management.
  • Ability to independently perform box-load calculations and recommend the most appropriate product based on customer needs.
  • Solid understanding of parallel rack systems and refrigeration controls.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and marketing principles, including strategy development, product demonstration, sales techniques, and use of sales systems.
  • Familiarity with customer service best practices, including needs assessment, meeting service standards, and evaluating customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Intermediate knowledge of the industry and related products.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.

 

The compensation range for this position is approximately $93,000 - $121,500 and will be based on the candidate’s qualification, experience, and education.
