The Director of Student Support at KIPP Capital Region will oversee academic and emotional support initiatives for students at risk of underperformance, focusing on special education and English Language Learner services in middle schools.
Responsibilities: Key responsibilities include training staff, coordinating support services, developing individual education plans, and ensuring compliance with special education regulations.

Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree and certification as a Special Education Teacher or Administrator are required, along with 4+ years of relevant professional experience; a Master's degree is preferred.
Location: This position is located in Albany & Troy, New York, with occasional travel required between schools.
Compensation: $85500 - $94500 / Annually

The Director of Student Support is passionate about supporting students at risk for academic underperformance due to emotional and/or physical challenges or language acquisition barriers so that they can succeed in the rigorous academic programs within KIPP Capital Region Public Schools.
