Responsibilities: Fellows will incubate at a high-performing charter school, develop leadership skills, analyze student achievement data, engage with community partners, and lead school operations for effective student outcomes.
Skills: Strong leadership, effective communication, experience in education or business administration, and an ability to engage diverse communities are essential for this role.
Qualifications: Candidates should have a Master’s degree or at least 5 years of relevant experience, with a proven track record in significantly improving student outcomes; proficiency in Spanish is a plus.
Location: This position is based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and requires residency at a local school site for the fellowship duration.
Compensation: Not provided by employer. Typical compensation ranges for this position are between $60,000 - $80,000.

The Fellow will enter into an employment contract with the selected school, which includes:
Opportunity 180, through the relationship with the fellow and expansion school, will provide ongoing support in preparing for a charter application to the State Authorizer and school launch. This includes providing strategic support and reimbursement for travel back and forth from the fellowship site to the proposed Nevada school site. The fellow will develop a fellow action plan to monitor and track their work towards ambitious goals and provide updates to Opportunity 180 on a regular basis. The fellow will also collaborate with Opportunity 180 to determine the best partners and support for them aligned with their ambitious goals.
