Responsibilities
- Draft initial versions of complex pleadings, written discovery, motions, and appellate briefs for review by associates and partners
- Perform factual and legal research using Westlaw and other sources
- Manage client-facing litigation tasks including fact gathering, case workups, and document collection
- Correspond with clients and prepare communications for the client services team
- Communicate with courts, outside counsel, experts, and vendors as needed
- Support partners and associates on assigned cases and perform other duties as assigned
Education
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
- Active membership in a U.S. State Bar and in good standing
- Preferably three to five years of general litigation experience
