This is a strategic leadership role offering the opportunity to shape IT operations at the core of a fast-paced, AI-driven tech organization. You’ll be responsible for designing and executing IT strategies that drive digital transformation, infrastructure optimization, and secure, scalable systems. Working closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams, you'll align technology with business goals while fostering innovation and operational excellence. This fully remote position is ideal for a visionary leader ready to make a broad impact across people, process, and technology.

Accountabilities:

• Lead the development and execution of corporate IT strategies that enhance business operations and scalability.
• Implement governance frameworks, ITSM best practices, and compliance processes aligned with industry standards.
• Oversee IT infrastructure, asset lifecycle management, and disaster recovery planning to ensure business continuity.
• Drive the adoption of emerging technologies to support digital transformation and innovation.
• Partner with security teams to build robust cybersecurity measures and manage compliance with standards like GDPR, HIPAA, and SOC 2.
• Manage IT budgets and investments, ensuring cost efficiency and measurable ROI.
• Collaborate with executive leadership and cross-functional stakeholders to align IT initiatives with organizational goals.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT operations and leadership roles.
• Strong background in IT procurement, supplier management, and contract negotiation.
• Familiarity with Atlassian tools including Jira Service Desk, Jira Software, and Confluence.
• Demonstrated leadership in fast-paced, scaling environments; experience in startup or SaaS settings is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance, ITSM frameworks, and cybersecurity best practices.
• Strategic thinker with an analytical mindset and a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Committed to building inclusive teams and fostering a culture of clarity, care, and candor.

Preferred:

• Experience with GenAI transformation initiatives and PMO management.
• Background in open-source, AI, developer tools, or data science industries.

• Salary range: $170,250–$278,896 + bonus + equity
