Service Desk Technician (Remote - US)

This role is ideal for a technically skilled professional who enjoys providing hands-on IT support and ensuring smooth daily operations for end-users. You will be the first point of contact for troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and network issues, acting as a trusted IT resource. The position requires a proactive approach, strong communication skills, and a focus on delivering excellent customer service. You will collaborate with internal teams, document solutions, and help maintain IT standards across devices and platforms. Accountabilities

• Provide first-level support to end-users for hardware, software, and cloud-based services.
• Triage, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues promptly, escalating complex problems when necessary.
• Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and maintain knowledge base articles.
• Build and maintain trustful relationships with the user community.
• Assist in configuring and maintaining desktops, laptops (Windows, macOS, ChromeOS), and mobile devices (iOS, Android).
• Identify opportunities to streamline IT processes and educate users to prevent recurring issues.

Participate in on-call rotations and respond to after-hours alerts

• University or college diploma in IT, Computer Systems, or a related discipline.
• 1–3 years of experience providing end-user support, ideally in a Google Workspace environment.
• Experience configuring and troubleshooting Windows, macOS, Android, and iOS devices; Linux knowledge is a plus.
• Familiarity with ticketing systems and collaboration tools (Jira, Slack, Google Chat).
• Basic understanding of cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, Azure) and networking fundamentals.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including documenting technical issues clearly.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to perform under pressure.
