IT Systems Engineer (Remote - US)

This role is ideal for a proactive, security-focused engineer who enjoys solving complex IT and infrastructure challenges. You will manage and automate IT systems, ensuring robust, secure, and scalable operations across cloud and on-prem environments. Working with modern tools, you will collaborate with engineering teams to streamline workflows, implement infrastructure-as-code solutions, and support internal users. Accountabilities

• Build, maintain, and automate IT workflows and systems using tools like Terraform, Go, shell scripting, and Kubernetes.
• Manage endpoint security, configuration, and automation for macOS, Linux, and cloud environments.
• Support internal teams with IT helpdesk tasks, including access, lockouts, and system integrations.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to test, deploy, and secure infrastructure and identity management systems.
• Document processes, troubleshoot issues, and provide actionable recommendations for improvements.
• Maintain security and compliance standards across IT systems while advocating for best practices.

• Proven experience in Linux systems engineering, Kubernetes, and IT administration.
• Strong programming skills in Go; experience with Temporal workflow automation is a plus.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and shell scripting.
• Knowledge of IT security, access management, and endpoint administration.
• Ability to manage traditional IT tasks, cloud infrastructure, and internal helpdesk support.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
• Autonomous, security-minded, and professional approach with the ability to work independently and proactively.
