Senior Software Engineer-II (Remote - US)

This role is a senior-level full-stack engineering position responsible for developing and maintaining mission-critical web applications and internal tools. You will work across the entire stack, from frontend interfaces to backend services, contributing to projects that directly impact customer experience, internal efficiency, and product safety. The role emphasizes collaboration with product managers, designers, and fellow engineers, promoting technical excellence, mentorship, and innovation. You will participate in building scalable, reliable systems while leveraging modern frameworks and technologies to solve challenging technical problems. This position offers the opportunity to shape critical product components in a fast-moving, user-focused environment.

Accountabilities:

·         Design, develop, and maintain full-stack web applications using Python, React, TypeScript, and related frameworks.

·         Own new feature development, including writing technical specifications, implementing robust code, and monitoring post-release metrics.

·         Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet user and business needs.

·         Contribute to team growth by mentoring junior engineers and sharing best practices.

·         Participate in debugging, monitoring, and improving production systems using tools such as Splunk, New Relic, and distributed queues like Kafka.

·         Support internal tools, customer help centers, and systems aimed at enhancing efficiency and user experience.

·         Work in an Agile environment with iterative development, frequent feedback, and continuous deployment.

·         8+ years of professional experience in web application development.

·         Strong backend skills in Python and comfort working across full-stack technologies.

·         Proficiency with frontend frameworks such as React and TypeScript, and modern front-end tooling.

·         Experience designing DB schemas, backend models, API endpoints, and integrating with REST/GraphQL APIs.

·         Ability to write clear, testable, maintainable code with meaningful unit test coverage.

·         Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS and distributed systems.

·         Excellent collaboration, problem-solving, and communication skills; capable of providing and receiving constructive feedback.

·         Prior experience architecting complex features and debugging production software.

·         Demonstrated ability to contribute new ideas and continuously improve engineering practices.
