Senior Product Manager - Lending Conversion

This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for a Senior Product Manager – Lending Conversion in the United States.

We are seeking a results-driven Senior Product Manager to own and optimize the end-to-end borrower funnel across lending products. This role is high-impact and highly visible, responsible for increasing loan originations, improving application conversion, and driving innovation using data, AI, and automation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams—including engineering, design, analytics, credit, and marketing—to simplify the borrower journey and create personalized, scalable experiences. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, ownership-heavy environments, excels at funnel optimization, and translates complex problems into actionable plans. This role balances strategic thinking with hands-on execution, ensuring measurable business outcomes while enhancing the customer experience.

Accountabilities

  • Own and execute the conversion funnel strategy across all lending products, from initial application to funded loan.
  • Identify and implement improvements to increase application starts, completions, and funding rates.
  • Simplify and reimagine the borrower journey through automation, AI, personalization, and segmentation.
  • Design and run funnel experiments to optimize the borrower experience and uncover scalable growth levers.
  • Leverage AI and large language models to create data-driven borrower workflows and innovative product features.
  • Collaborate with engineering, design, analytics, marketing, operations, and credit teams to deliver results.
  • Use both qualitative and quantitative insights to validate hypotheses, measure impact, and inform decisions.
  • Define, track, and report funnel KPIs (conversion rates, drop-off points, time to fund, NPS) and business outcomes (loan volume, unit economics).
  • Ensure all funnel initiatives comply with regulatory and compliance requirements.
  • Communicate strategy, progress, and learnings effectively to stakeholders across the organization.
  • 5+ years of product management experience with full ownership of product outcomes.
  • 3+ years managing lending products.
  • 3+ years in fintech or overlapping financial services experience.
  • Hands-on, builder’s mindset; able to operate in ambiguous environments and translate complex challenges into clear plans.
  • Strong product instincts with fluency in metrics, experimentation, and customer insights.
  • Exceptional communication and storytelling skills; able to align teams and influence stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, design, analytics, and business operations.
  • Passion for solving real problems and improving financial products for users.
  • Competitive salary range: $190,000 – $240,000 USD.
