This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of icebreaker. We are currently looking for a Sales Representative in Illinois (USA).

This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and experienced sales professional to take ownership of a dynamic territory and make a direct impact on business growth. In this role, you will manage key relationships with specialty retail accounts, execute strategic sales initiatives, and drive revenue across outdoor and athletic markets. You’ll engage directly with clients, represent high-performance products, and contribute to go-to-market planning. With a blend of in-person and virtual engagement, this position offers both autonomy and collaboration in a fast-paced, purpose-led environment.

Accountabilities

  • Lead overall sales execution within a defined geographic territory, managing both existing accounts and identifying new opportunities.
  • Secure seasonal and at-once orders while ensuring adherence to distribution strategies and brand guidelines.
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual revenue targets in the specialty outdoor and run channels.
  • Leverage virtual tools and face-to-face meetings for order procurement and relationship building.
  • Partner with field service reps to create education programs, local activation plans, and seasonal sales strategies.
  • Use market and POS data insights to inform sales decisions and support retail growth.
  • Execute strategic sales plans, including wholesale activation and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in field sales, product, marketing, or retail, preferably in the footwear or athletic apparel industry.
  • Proven ability to drive sales growth through effective strategies and relationship management.
  • Strong project and organizational management skills with a record of exceeding expectations.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, OneNote, Outlook).
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, both virtual and in-person.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time; reliable transportation is required.
  • Team-oriented mindset with a collaborative and proactive approach.
  • Competitive base salary: $72,000 – $90,000 annually.
