You’ll play a key role in the pre-sales process, partnering with stakeholders to design, present, and deliver advanced architectures using platforms like Databricks and Snowflake. This role combines strategic thinking with hands-on expertise and offers the opportunity to work on cutting-edge projects with a strong emphasis on innovation, client impact, and collaboration.

Accountabilities

As a Pre-Sales Engineer, you will:

  • Collaborate with sales teams to assess client needs and design scalable cloud data architectures tailored to their business goals.
  • Deliver product demos, Proofs of Concept (POCs), and presentations showcasing the value of cloud and AI/ML solutions.
  • Lead technical workshops and build scopes of work that align with client objectives.
  • Advise clients on data engineering workflows, ETL pipelines, and AI/ML model integration.
  • Guide customers through complex analytics strategies, real-time data processing, and predictive analytics use cases.
  • Act as a trusted advisor throughout the customer lifecycle, ensuring technical alignment and satisfaction.
  • Share insights and best practices internally and externally through documentation, training, and enablement.
  • Stay current with trends in cloud data, machine learning, and analytics, ensuring ongoing innovation and technical excellence.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • Proven experience with platforms like Databricks, Snowflake, or comparable cloud data solutions (e.g., BigQuery, Redshift).
  • Strong expertise in data engineering concepts, including ETL/ELT pipelines and big data frameworks.
  • Solid understanding of AI/ML technologies, including model deployment and integration into data systems.
  • Familiarity with cloud services across AWS, Azure, or GCP for data storage, processing, and analytics.
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Experience working with senior-level stakeholders in a pre-sales, sales engineering, or technical consulting capacity.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in cloud data architecture, AI/ML, or sales engineering roles.
  • Bonus: Certifications in cloud/data platforms, BI tool proficiency (Power BI, Tableau, Looker), Agile/DevOps familiarity, or supply chain experience.
