In this role, youโ€™ll identify pain points and deliver tailored solutions to mid-market clients across the manufacturing sector. You'll own the full sales cycle โ€” from lead generation to close โ€” and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure client success. Ideal for a self-motivated closer with strong consultative selling skills and a passion for solving real-world operational challenges, this position offers both autonomy and impact.

Accountabilities:

  • Present, promote, and sell technical products and services to new and existing mid-market clients.
  • Diagnose customer challenges and propose tailored, value-driven solutions.
  • Maintain accurate activity records, pipeline updates, and client information in the CRM.
  • Conduct online product demos and schedule strategic on-site visits.
  • Organize regional sales travel to maximize efficiency and impact.
  • Represent the company at trade shows, industry conferences, and client meetings.
  • Generate leads through digital research, directories, and outreach strategies.
  • Share market feedback and customer insights with internal teams to support product development.
  • Seamlessly hand off closed deals to post-sales teams to ensure smooth implementation.
  • Contribute proactively to team goals, even when activities extend beyond direct quota attainment.
  • 5+ years of experience in hunter-style B2B sales, with a proven track record of success.
  • 2+ years of experience selling into industrial or manufacturing environments (strongly preferred).
  • Ability to build trust through clear, honest, and solution-oriented communication.
  • Strong storytelling and consultative selling skills, using examples and case studies to resonate with customer needs.
  • Excellent time management and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities โ€” especially in identifying unspoken pain points.
  • High emotional resilience with the ability to maintain a positive, proactive attitude.
  • Comfort navigating ambiguity and articulating product vision without heavy reliance on visual aids.
  • Skilled in active listening, conflict resolution, and reading between the lines to uncover customer motivations.
  • Proficiency with CRMs and sales tools like Salesforce or similar platforms.
